Upon a flowery mead, covered by morning dew A new-born fawn lies helpless in the grass As the first rays of sunlight reaches him He opens his eyes and looks at the world around
Unknowing of the fact that he’s condemned to die In infernal pain from a hereditary disease Caused by pollution from the civilized world of human beings
Unknowing and dauntless he takes his first steps in this new world He sucks the poisonous milk from his mother She is ill, she is weak, her yes reflect the sorrow The sorrow to know that her child was born to die
As time passes he grows older but weaker – wiser but sadder He has seen his tribe diminish and the forest die away He has felt his strenght fade and is now marked by illness
And as he feels that he is soon to die He slowly walks back to that old meadow (where once he was born) He recalls those days of innocence and joy
He lies down in the grass his breathing grows faster His pain becomes even worse He closes his eyes and suddenly the pain is gone
Now there lies a putrified corpse The stench is unbearable, his eyes are two black holes Staring into infinity Beyond this world and the odious of it all
For no-one to see, nor remember What once has been a beautiful fawn For no-one to see, a meaningless life of painTeksty umieszczone na naszej stronie są własnością wytwórni, wykonawców, osób mających do nich prawa.
