Unexpected she arrived
to pick the slender souls of the fools
that had not yet contemplated her
and in the silence of her destruction
she left behind
everything that you thought you had.

I can hear the deafening noise that I make
consuming the remainder of the body
that still remains,
internal organs detach and
fall to the ground becoming ashes
to dry the pool of blood
around me;
only now I look back and
realize how far I have traveled,

I stop, and start to breathe.
