Z / Zion / Discontented Man
Here's a story 'bout a discontented man He grabs a hold of anything he can Life is nothing but a joke to him
Discontented man's an elder in the church Sometimes it can be a lot of work So he has a drink to calm himself down
He's got a pretty wife, he's got two nice cars Saturday night you'd find him out in bars But he always goes to church on Sundays
Discontented man, you must be born again Money and religion won't save you in the end Give it up to Jesus, let Him change your life And you'll no longer be - a discontented man
Discontented man, he works nine to five He goes to church and pays his tithes He does his religious duties
He got a little boy he takes to Sunday school They try to teach him eternal truths If you're a good boy then you'll go to heaven
He got a big old house, he owns a sailboat He pays his taxes and he always votes What more could Jesus ask for
[Chorus] Discontented man lights up another smoke He knows his life is nothing but a joke But he just can't seem to get it together
Discontented man don't seem to understand That he's got to be born again He's got to let Jesus change him
Going to church can be good and fine If you do it in the right frame of mind Not just because you feel like you have to
