zvezda vzhoda nam kaže pot
med razburkane vode,
skoz' meglo in nemir.

Glej, v žarkih redči se megla in glej,
vode stekajo se čez rob,
(to je) rob sveta, kjer usoda je tok,
usmerjen navzven.

Razpnite vsa jadra,
da ujamemo veter vzhodne zvezde;
stran čaka nas pot nepoznana,
naš nov izziv.
Nihče naj se novosti ne brani,
svet je na naši dlani;
čakajo nas nova pota,
vse skrivnosti sveta.

Sonce zahaja na obzorju,
slika rdeče nebo,
nas je srce že željno poti,
ven, v odprti svet.

Glej, na obzorju se riše svet,
dimenzija, kjer nisi ujet,
kjer so meje mogočega
višje od neba.

Razpnite vsa jadra,
da ujamemo veter vzhodne zvezde;
stran čaka nas pot nepoznana,
naš nov izziv.
Nihče naj se novosti ne brani,
svet je na naši dlani;
čakajo nas nova pota,
vse skrivnosti sveta.

Sonce vzhaja na obzorju,
dan se prebuja iz noči,
nas je srce že željno poti,
ven, na odprto morjé.

Behold, the sky clears and behold,
The eastern star shows us the way
To turbulent waters,
Through fog and unrest.

Behold, the fog thins in the sun and behold,
Waters flow over the edge,
(This is) the edge of the world, where destiny governs the flow,
Leading it outwards.
