For centuries I have slumbered Embraced by deepest ice. In a glacial death, Where northern winds blow, I dream a dream untold.
In sleep I still remember A world of death and decay, A world once full Of magic and awe Felled by hearts of men.
In anger and wrath, In sadness and tears, I sleep and hope to die. Once mighty and great, The raging flame, Now embers asleep in the dark.
To sleep here in this prison, To hear the world go by, To dream of the ruin Of all I have loved, My frozen heart cannot endure.
In darkness and dread, In freezing cold, My lonely spirit grieves. The quavering light Of times long gone Still lingers in my faded soul. Still lingers in my faded soul!
This dream I dream In ice and snow – A torment of memory Forever within. Will death ever come? To be undone, The only hope for me. The rest is darkness and maddening, Eternal hate!
The greed of men undying Has set the world ablaze. My prison will melt, My wings soar again In wrath unbridled and cruel.
This dream I dream …
Let fire consume The worlds of man In wrath unbridled and cruel, In vengeance so sweet and true.Teksty umieszczone na naszej stronie są własnością wytwórni, wykonawców, osób mających do nich prawa.
