Contempt from a vortex of desperate humanity
Becomes the living, clustering illusion of the mind
Becomes the luminiferous aether
Becomes this flat planet
Spiraling fractals
The modality of omniscience
The folly of prescience
A faltering conscience

In this ignorant half-delirium excuses are made and accepted
Hope is shattered and resuscitated over and over again
Fleeting specters of recourses flash
Creating the briefest of shadows through the brain's arclight
