silent steps crush the dirt i tread
sightless in my wake

rising of dust under my feet
places and things that i have seen
friends that i lost enter my mind
streets full of faces i once had known

embracing concrete
welcome the dusk
tasting of violence
fear, silence and lust

sleeping till i wake
breathing deep, unwilling air
silence till i wake
free to walk inside my head

featureless structures endless in sight
my tongue licks words silent as night
moving with solitude guiding my heart
i walk in end-times, future and past

stone gods around me- buildings aware
light shining in them- searching for peace in there
