Part 1 – The Dawn of Time

[Narrated by the High Priest of Vandor]
Everything started with a legend
A prophecy to unfold
Of a prince to rise and unite us
With a sword to end all wars

But looming behind him a creature
Vile, disgusting and mad
Has come to poison the small child's mind

The creature is envious and lacks a heart
It's sad and knows not what for

Now slowly but surely the things set in motion
Will lead to the end of man


Part 2 – King's Theme

[The King's Monologue]
The town is getting crowded
Alike in what they seek
A glimpse of the newborn
Who will one day be king

The story has been spreading
Of what he'll grow to be
A king for us to follow
The king who will carry the sword of the tales
The one who will prevail

All people of the nation
Please listen to my words
This young one is our future
A saviour for the meek
His good-will will make us stronger
A few years and you all will see

Rejoice he's born
Our king returned to us


Part 3 – Surely Love

[A foreign wanderer]
Once, in a far away land
Where I grew, where I learned
That a young prince will be crowned

And when he arrived, to the gates
Only a child, barely ten
He's taught to steal and feed his greed

Surely love can lead him
Lead him home


Part 4 – Moonlight

[Narrator and The Creature]
Now when the child's grown older
He seeks within his soul
It's as if the world rests on his shoulder
But the creature tells him NO

"Your heart will show you nothing
and you're nothing without me"
The young man listened closely
And return to darker paths

"Alone, you will never keep your throne"
Will I ever keep my throne?

On a moonlit night our prince would rise
to unite us and free us from darkness
By a twist of fate, bring the light of day
Will he cast out the evil that blinds us
Will he rise and guide our way?

The crown fell from its riches
Yet life remains the same
Suddenly a man in white approaches
From the Mountains of Avagale

[The High Priest of Vandor]
"The world knows of your failure
it seems your destiny fell through
Now peace is not an option,
and it's all because of you"

You should beware of the evil that's guiding you
Twisting your mind

It's a moonlit night and our prince's demise
What was said in the stories of old
With the creature's aid he has lost his way
And the sword is now broken beyond repair
What are we to do, Lord what can we do
With the sword to end all wars


Part 5 – Helpless

[The Prince]
"I guess we all get lonely sometimes
I just feel so lost
Helpless, I'm helpless"

I need a helping hand from you

Let love please guide him
Grace him as the nightmare begins

Part 7 – End of Time

[Narrated by the High Priest of Vandor]
The prince put his wrath on the creature
(Your black soul alluded my goal)
Its black soul alluded his goal
(A strike and the creature was gone)
With a strike from his sword the creature was gone

His hate all vanished, his love returned
He soared in the sky, he was free
Defeated and struck down, the creature withdrew
Impaled by a blade of light


Part 8 – Surely Love [Revisited]

[The Foreign Wanderer]
Then when he returned to his throne
The creature he saw, is now known
And now he's free forevermore

Surely love can lead him
(Lead him home)
Now surely love has led him
Back to us


Part 9 – Finale

[The People of Vandor]
The realm restored its honour
Our faith is growing stronger
By scripture only you will be made whole

The prophecy unfolded
Behold the new world order
The sword to end all wars lives within you

The stars align before us

The lonely road you wandered, now you're home

No woe, no fear consumes you
Into the unknown future
