Endangering reality

Production of a never-ending
Smokestack of a fabricating
Scream against which there is no logical recourse

Anointed in hate
They bleed for truth that doesn't exist
With a grim silence we turn away

Reverence
Of deception
A vile collection
Intelligence drowned out by fear
Risen
To the surface
A violent purpose
Distorting all that once was clear
Promulgating fantasy
Disguised as bitter honesty
A masquerade of anarchy
Eradicating reasons' voice
Though senseless their denying
Intellectualism is dying
Buried under a monolith of ignorant force
What once was decided
Now chided and derided
Antipathy towards an ignominious ideal
Consequences coinciding
With our disgust and denial
It doesn't matter what they say we'll always know what's real
