I want to tell you a story about life and the blues

You can be a winner; it’s your life to choose

I’ve been sinning for so long I’ve been singing the blues

But I’ve got a friend in Jesus that much is true

Now this friend of mine gave his life for me

I was blind to the truth but now I see

He’s coming back someday, coming down from the clouds

Every tongue will confess, every knee shall bow

That Jesus Christ is Lord

So don’t be singing the blues no more, I tell you there’s hope

Hope like you never seen, the only kind of hope the Lord can bring

I ain’t singing the blues no more
