Annunciation


On wings of the dawn, an angel took flight.

He carried a message of living light.

Be not afraid. I am sent by the One.

You have been chosen to bear a Son.



But how can this be? I know not man.

But all things are possible in God’s plan.



By the Holy Spirit you shall conceive.

This is the will of God. You must believe.

I am his handmaid, let it be done.

He has shown mercy to everyone.



The Word has come to dwell among us.

He will save his people, call him Jesus.



Sleeping in a shadow of a cross.

This child was born to save that which was lost.



Mary said “Yes” to all that God willed.

She even stood fast on Calvary’s hill.

Pray for us, sweet Virgin Mary.

Help us to bear the crosses we carry.



Let my soul magnify Him, let my spirit rejoice!

My heart cannot be still at the sound of His voice!



If my Heart could be heard,

there’d be no need for words.

If only you knew how much I love you…I love you.
