Andrew:
Why' it's yours. (he doesn't take the Bible)
Andrew:
It's not me anymore. I don't have any use for it. Instead of throwing it
ut I thought I'd give it to you. (tosses Bible on table)
Andrew:
But Mom and Dad gave this to you when you became a Christian.
Steven:
What does that mean Andrew? Becoming a Christian is what THEY
wanted ... and now I don't even care what they want!
Andrew:
But God cares for you Steven! You mean tot ell me that after
all these years you haven't realized that Jesus loves you and He
wants you to be Hiss own! He's got a plan for your life!
Steven:
Yeah Yeah Yeah! I'm tired of all this stuff! I've heard it all my life.
It means nothing to mo me. If there really is a God... then He'l have to...
(the parents walk in)... oh, man!
Father:
"Steven... it's been awhile... what do you want this time?"
Steven:
(angrily "I don't need nothin' from you man! NOTHIN'!
(storms out the door)
