Antithetical to humankind The antithesis to compassion There's an empire named America Who the fury-hearted are hoping to crumble
We preach our hate to the entire world Tell them we've a singular right to their earth And wherever oil lives, so does America And so does our child capitalism
Our god has long evolved from lowly Christian myth To economic and capitol growth; a cross-born capitalist
Genocide is the price and we pay it happily Proxy colonization of fruit-bearing lands
Etched in the sand and in the rock Bound with the mortar of children's blood Burned in the cries of the empire's bombs The phosphorous rains can't erase what we've done
Carved in the earth and in the sea The crimes of our growth and our prosperity A life that we could provide for the world Hoarded for us—and even then—the few
There's nothing we can't—and won't—ever do Nothing so sacred that we don't defile An empire that's named America Cannot exist without inhuman cost
For every single breath this empire takes A thousand more extinguished; a thousand more dead For every single step this empire takes A sterile crater made; infertile concrete paved
A blinding path with no light Open only in the dark A bureaucratic hell of redacted promises
We cannot exist; this nation cannot live No coexistence works with capitalism
This empire is rot; it is surely doomed to fail But such hell ravaged for it to have lived at all
It all must be completely destroyed This empire named America
Nothing holy about what we have done This empire has no right to live on this Earth
Burn it all to the ground, every system born Out of white supremacy and indigenous genocide Burn it all to ground, leave nothing left to grow Everything that it stood for cannot be allowed to live Teksty umieszczone na naszej stronie są własnością wytwórni, wykonawców, osób mających do nich prawa. |
