Die Spannung dem Zerreißen nah; wird unerträglich
Doch etwas schwirrt in der Luft – eine dunkle Vorahnung

Und kein Gedanke mehr – an Erlösung

Der Tag verheißt Hoffnung, die nur kurz verweilt
Endet in einem neuen Pferch
Hitze, Enge, Poltern
Fremde Bilder dringen durch enge Schlitze, ziehen vorbei
Oh süße Aussicht auf ein andres Leben, kein Balsam meiner Seelenqual

Bilder ziehen vorbei: Stillstand: die Herzen rasen
Schritte, Angst durchfährt die Körper – sie kommen

In der Kammer – Dunkelheit
Jeder riecht den Angstschweiß des andern

Nebel: die Luft betäubt die Sinne, schnürt die Kehle zu
Letzte Blicke töten die Hoffnung auf Leben

Steps... Fear drives into the bodies... they`re coming!

In the chamber – darkness
Sensing the cold sweat of one another, one another

Fog: the air deafens the senses, cording up the gorge
Last glimpses kill the hope of life

End!

What means life? I have never lived...
