Placid waters may deceive, the bless the indifferent mind. A fallacious rueful play, deceptive by design. On the surface things are peaceful and sometimes quite serene. Underneath nightmares flow in a never-ending stream. Currents rage beneath that which can't be seen. To bathe in these waters will never wash you clean. Can you see your own reflection fair weathered friend of mine? You care not of substance, apathy is your vice. I know you see the truth when you look into my eyes. I know that you don't care so it's you I despise. Don't shed a tear for me at the loss in my wake. To set amiss you own guilt only serves to take away. Where was the genuine empathy? Where was the sincere embrace? When you could see the anguish so clearly in face. I wish there could be some recourse but that will never be. You've detached from my reality that much I can see. If I'm not a part of your world it will still turn anyway. So don't you dare indulge me in a feast of misplaced pity. The worst thing about me I'm an infelicitous disease. I will spread over you and leave you just like me. I will rain on your parade and piss into your tea (what?!).
