Time waits for no man in the valley of the King
The Piper at the gates of dawn puts the Keys back on their ring
Pathways of daybreak take him to the castle door
Sleepy town of silence looks across it's golden shore

People run for cover to the castle on the hill
The gates are widely open the castle starts to fill
The Sword of Truth and Justice is taken from the wall
The king of peace and wisdom to take the Keeper's call

Somewhere there's thunder and the sky is turning black
Well I say you better look out the Keeper's coming back
And a thousand fiery dragons head a chariot of sin
And like a thunder bolt across the sky he starts his journey in

The sky lights up with fire the fight for peace beings
The Keeper is defeated and retreats his weary limbs
Peace restored for ever ormaybe just a day
He assures his people and sends them on their way

The Piper travels onward to the valley of soft light
He closes up the gates and he opens up the night
The moon is put on watch with all its stars as legionnaires
The people sleep inside their home the King has all their cares
