As the winds pick up and the waters grow dark, lookouts aboard the ,iLuminara spot distant sea serpents. A gathering storm churns the seas, losing the ship from side to side. Then a crack of lighting illuminates a huge scaled form, a monster with tentacles and fangs, and a maw large enough to destroy ships – the Leviathan! Captain Shay orders the men to fight, while he defiantly tries to skewer the monster’s eye with a harpoon, but the Leviathan attacks with a vengeance, devouring the captain, smashing the hull, breaking the masts.
