P / Poem / The Crawling Streets
our streets are full of sand too old, too young with footprints everywhere in dust, in blood we're building ruins here from flesh, from stone our streets lead us away from peace, from home
...home
crawling, walking, running we're all wandering through the dust never to know our way only knowing that we're lost crawling, walking, running we're all wandering through the dust all streets lead to the end and we'll wander 'till it comes
how every streetlight glares and grins, and stares this broken concrete bears our blood, our tears each gutter pulls us near and grins, and stares our streets will take us there into nowhere
...where
crawling, walking, running we all wander through the dust never to know our way only knowing that we're lost crawling, walking, running we all wander through the dust all streets lead to the end and we'll wander 'till it comes Teksty umieszczone na naszej stronie są własnością wytwórni, wykonawców, osób mających do nich prawa. |
