Fair Haven of Thesterness
From the darkness comes new light From the light wake fear and fright Thousand faces stare at me Thousands stare, not one can see Could they pierce my masked face They would behold my last grimace So here I lie and here I hide To save me from my suicide
My ship has anchored I harbour here
Spread the shroud all o'er my corpse Place the coins upon the orbs Tuck me in my vessel's hull My voyage will be long and dull They've pushed me off, the shore is far And farther yet each guiding star They deem the ride be long for me But yet I belong to eternity
The sea is peaceful And still the night
Fair haven of thesterness, my black embrace Fair haven of loneliness, my only hiding place
My journey ends not Nor ever will I know and sense nought For all is still
In this darkness glows no gleam: Ever-sparkless, dawnless dream My soul a raven, haggard and hoar Fit to soar and seek the shore
The body travels and the raven flies And the raven flies And the raven flies no more Teksty umieszczone na naszej stronie są własnością wytwórni, wykonawców, osób mających do nich prawa. |
