If you don't like it
Does it mean it's unholy?
Or could it be a difference in creation
The way God made me?

Another monkey on my back
I've got to watch every song I sing
It's too holy for the world
Yet not enough for his church
I can't ever win in this place

Just because my eyes can't see my heart
Does it mean it's not important?
Or should it be all the more reason to have faith in it
Aren't we all one body just a different part?

The truth still offends
How dare I paint the real thing

The story of creation?
Isn't He the only one who creates things"
Aren't we just the vessels in which He works through?
