festering piles of corpses
smouldering carnage
skulls, bones and human grease
the sole artefacts
the soil awash with blood
rivers run red and carry so many bodies to the shore

in adoration of war and slaughter
to exalt your death
you will die

and the aftermath surely consists
of pestilent disease and deafening cries of pain
yes the aftermath surely consists of debris

to exalt your death preferably in enormous amounts
in adoration of war and slaughter i’m holding on
for herein lies my sense of justice
these are unctuous thoughts to me cause then
and only then
i’ll have revenge
