Past the Stonecircle Clearing. In trace of unseen footprints Following the smell of rain Turned into whiffs of mist
Past the Stoncircle Clearing. in search of a place forgotten Body and mind alert The trees reign here.
Nightwind enshrouded the path (And) when the dawn Was turned into day The path was gone.
Past the Stonecircle Clearing. Beyond the place where the oaks grow ancient No feeling of enmity present Neither concern for humanness
Behind are the lumbered clearings Where the trunks and roots are enraged Injured and filled with wrath Against the kin of the cutters.
Ahead lie the fumes of obscurity Mystifying the surroundings. The footsteps must be firm yet cautious For the ground may soon turn out to be (very) unsolid.
Past the Stonecircle Clearing Where the druidsong used to resound Before the altar with an ensiform sigil With symbols of tree-befriended knowledge
Gone are the druids now, past away long ago Only the wind now sings in the trees And the streams of the disharmonic intruders Are stilled by roots, branches, moss, and venomous fangs
In danger is the traveller who dares to pass the forestline Past the Stonecircle Clearing In search of hidden wisdom he must be Or a foolish defiant ass, whom the world shan't evermore see
The rhythm of the trees differs from that of men And they are not on friendly terms With human toils, hopes and anxiety Into the forest the one who enters In search of knowledge Must be prepared to face the quest With respect, fear, humility Absolute self-assurance And capacity of feeling awe
The nightwinds pulled the shroud away From the path to the ancient place, again It's open only sometimes And many have failed to return.
Past the Stonecircle Clearing In search of the hidden knowledge The powers are roaming free
Remember how it was in the winter? When the frosted shrubs twinkled in starlight? Now it's another season And the powers are still here.Teksty umieszczone na naszej stronie są własnością wytwórni, wykonawców, osób mających do nich prawa.
