As we approach the dawning of the twenty-first century,
our deeds confess a curious side of humanity.

But, we are alone.

Dead opinions, looming prospects of yet a darker age
lead the ones who blindly follow to write another page.

Can we find the key?

Will you wait at heaven's door?

Trusting in faith.
Forevermore?

I shall dwell in the house of hope forever.
And, I'll charge you where conviction meets the Void.

A new age brings to being the seed of warring minds,
from a compassion failing, forming foes on either side.

Too held by moral chains.
Too moved by reason's choking reigns.
Here at the center we collide,
beneath the crashing tide of time.

You never thought to question
the faceless god you made,
an image carved from pride
and painted white with glory's stain.

How could you be so vain?

And, now alone I stand
to meet your guilt with judging hands.

Before your eyes can hope to see,
you'll have to deal with me.

And, from convention bleeding, crosses blind the truth with lies,
so in a mind repeating tired phrases, stifled outcries.

Too held by righteous fear.
Too moved by tenets so unclear.
Here at the center we collide,
beneath the crashing tide of time.

You never thought to question
the religion you had made,
an image carved from pride
and painted white with glory's stain,

erected in your name.

And, now alone I stand
to meet your guilt with judging hands.

Before your eyes can hope to see,
you'll have to deal with me.

Here we stand at the crossing of our
opinions' great divide.

Between broken hope and suffering
our pointed swords will collide.

Conviction cannot prevail.
You lean on reasons far too frail.

You'd better think for yourself
before you're caught in a collision!

And, there will be no escape
from the perfect trap that you have made.

This is the end of tyranny.
This is the end of you. Collision!

The timeless test will never rest
while our ignorance rages and canons contest.

Washed aside in a crimson tide,
all reason is choked by a man's narrow mind.

And, he is cast into the sea of intolerance and self immersion,
where the seeds of hatred grow within, from blind eyes.

Moving toward the eternal
that hides the dark side of truth,
we are immortal seekers, I and you.

Blind to the ageless enigma,
you turn from your brother.
But, you hold a single key, and I the other.
