Was only a few years ago since I bought my friend's car and I moved far a long long way down a long, long way from home not really knowing where I was going but just knowing I had to hit the road just a poor boy just a poor old wandering soul never thought twice about my life or my identity selling everything that I own cashing in both my loans and I sacrificed that old college degree oh just to be what I wanted to be just to see everything that I always hoped that I'd always see and there's a great life's work in front of me I'd never heard that it'd ever come so easy cause all I know is that there's only one thing left to believe I got my work cut out for me I got my work cut out for me
Never once did I ever feel that I'd ever be alone cause I always had the best of my friends and the rest of my family out there with me everywhere that I go and it's behind closed eyes I see them smiling and they're laughing and clapping and oh they're having a ball with their little boy lost who is trying and he'll try it all but there's a great deal of life's work in front of me I never thought that i'd ever be oh so easy cause I never heard that it's only one else and it's only one thing to believe I got my work cut out for me I got my work cut out for me
And some day the words don't work and I forget all about what I've spoken for but god knows it doesn't hurt I gotta keep on, keep on keepin on because I'll make more and there's a great life's work in front of me I never dreamed, and I never hoped it'd ever be easy but I left home with the only thing that my daddy taught me, boy said son you gotta believe it I got my work cut out for me I got my work cut out for me I got my work cut out for me I got my work cut out for me Teksty umieszczone na naszej stronie są własnością wytwórni, wykonawców, osób mających do nich prawa.
