Remembering when she held Him dear
This mother’s child from shepherd’s bed
The Christ who’s put to sinner’s death


She watched her baby take the fall
As she holds her heart within her palm

He ran away in dead of night

As the scattered sheep mourn their shepherd’s fall
Suddenly, they hear a familiar call
“I send you into a world through you I must change
and lo, I am with you always until the end of the age.”

They watched their Healer take the fall
The final Lamb that cleanses all
But in the face of prophecy lies the twist of His great destiny, He said,
“Three days time and I will rise.”


They saw their Savior standing tall
The Son of Man who changes all
But in the face of majesty lies the twist of our great destiny, He said,
“With your King you will rise.”
“With your King you will rise.”
