I / Interface / Lessons Not Learned from All the Awful Things That Keep Happening
Wake up in a dark room. Screen clicks on, burns my eyes.
Crawl to the computer. Plug in, drag myself online. I love reading the news; A taste for vicarious hurt.
I love watching this unfold. Outside everything falls apart. I'm not alone; I'm a part of something greater. I'm not alone; There's nothing that I hate more.
Dictators rise; indulge in genocide.. It's fine, they're on our side.
Civilisation dies; we don't avert our eyes. Democracy fails and we don't realise. We swim in shit; no one learns.
The only choice we ever get are sides of a coin, When Both Take Turns.
We're all trapped in purgatory. We're all trapped in this story. And there hasn't been a happy ending in years; I'm not alone; I'm a part of something greater. I'm not alone; There's nothing that I hate more. I'm just a clone; Humans die on screen before me. I'm one of them; Others watch me as i watch them bleed.
We swim in shit and no one ever learns. No one's getting out of here alive. Teksty umieszczone na naszej stronie są własnością wytwórni, wykonawców, osób mających do nich prawa. |
