Kindly take my hand in yours

Long cold nights, I lie awake-
behind my eyes, nothingness.
How many more must I endure
before you come to lie with me?
I wait for you to find me here,
a worshipper of entropy
Seek me out in the final hour, end this with a sigh.
Steal my flame with your undying lust-
make this Flesh your temple.
Seek me out in the fading light
and take my life away.
All hours spent. Let me rot, let me fade.
Put all to rest.
Years of grief come to an end.
All my days have passed me by.
Tears of joy now fill my eyes-
embrace me Death, I take you in.
Long cold nights plague me no more.
I close my eyes: Ecstasy.
Not one more will I endure,
for you have come to lie with me.
