I can't settle within this time
Weeds they cling to me
Grass grows on the other side
So I dream through my sleep

Makes no difference
What time or space
Another twisted fate
I am captured encase
Inside my own embrace

Friend your eyes are blind
Look to find,
You cannot see
View what you have,
Treat it well
To realise, the sky

Here there is no time
The only space my mind
My strength laid to waste
Restrained by my own embrace

Dread the time

Seek contentment in life that’s all
Too much to ask I tell myself
Deep inside I can’t hold on
The urge is strong to move on

My only peace follows sleep
Escape this world of reality
Dream scapes my altered state
Dread the time I awake

Survival created upon these needs
I must give in just lay down
My search reveals an in built greed
We are doomed to fail

Outer world my cell
Imprisoned in life
No more I dwell
My time on earth nearly through
Release from my cold embrace
