Sits now upon our skyline
A black abyss devoid of life

A lack of regret, avoidable catastrophe

Greed and shame
Fire and pain

The broken word of those above
Has left them there to suffer
The monument to greed and shame
Sows seeds of righteous anger

Rain of fire under glowing sky
How its darkness does consume
All that’s left drifts away like dust
On the wind that shall exhume

Witnesses distraught and enraged
Stand in solidarity
Loss of life, voices, and of trust
Laughably transparent lies
