No moral bearing?
Are we not derelict?

Only through reason can we conceive a use.
From selfish to selfless,
It's all up to you.
In the absence of the Divine
Do humans have freedom to create
What we believe is right and wrong?
The search for truth does not always
Yield the answer of greatest desire.
Science can help us find these yields
Only if we admit that some are wrong.

Fear is the mother of morality.
Heed is the father of Fear.

Why do we need morals, purpose?

What good is a guide
If it cannot adapt?
How are we suppose to thrive
If we are stuck in the past?
Morals are not a line, but a plane
Which has peaks and troughs.

The more the universe seems understandable, the more it seems pointless.
