Don't shine the light into my eyes
darkness hath enthralled.
Consumed by blackness
trapped in despair.
Shine the light into my eyes
darkness is defeated.
Hope to me is granted
filled with God's peace.
Finding out the difference
between the dark and the light.
Overcoming all with God's wisdom and might.
Confused by the lies the evil one hath spread.
Focusing attention to what I have read.
Defeated.
