Upon a golden trellis, the tree of life climbs As I remain within its twisted roots Entangling My corpse in suffocating martyrdom A life I was eager to forsake Wandering in garden of crucifix Watching the cruxes fall into inversion Such as all descend into perversion An empty tarnished existence The hours become bearers of grief
I was never asked to lead the kingdom of salvation Yet it was borne unto Me as a thorny wreath And so shall be this curse until I rid the world of its sin Yet what penance can be given for acts one has not commit? In taking up the sacred knife I take the life of God's only Son A savior in committing divine suicide

I ascend the tree and watch the husks shatter before Me
