Society in crisis, take a look out on the street
We’ve have people doing everything, no standards at all
Watered down ethics cause the heart to stray
We are headed to a state of societal decay

This is a crisis, we’re going down the drain
We are in a crisis, the car’s about to crash

We are in a crisis, hope comes from Christian ways

The experts told us that we have free will
But that stance seems to have turned to dust
In a country where anything now goes
Very soon we will start to count the cost

I don’t like what I’m seeing
Every year the standard slips
Envelope is pushed further
Enough to make society lose grip

From all that I can see, there is one sure hope
There through all the ages, the Lord our God looks on
We must turn to him to escape a terrible fate
And get out of the crisis and change our ways
