Has there ever been a time more fitting for selfdestruction?
My suicidal urges barely Kept in check thus far
Civilization an ever-swirling toilet That just won't flush All around me goddamn monkeys Content in their golden cages Whatever hope I once had is now gone Our race has lost it's reason Mankind in the grip of dementia With glee we are sawing the branch We are all sitting on All we seem to be good for Is sowing more poison into this Earth Thru the din of traffic I hear Nature gasping in death throes And only one thought brings me relief Is the fact that at least we don't have too long
Watching the undulating waves Of spreading delirious madness Among this despised species I'm reluctant to be part of Feels like a grand joke is being played But I don't know whether to laugh or to cry Crawling like a child I withdraw back into my shell again Hoping not to emerge ever again
Watching the days go by I hope that the end Is swift and merciless And complete
