We grasp the potency of our tongue and we are standard bearers
For the width and depth of language in the world

Show us the man who in the depth of soul does not
Hold a reverence for clarity and truth
Yet those behind the podia in our faces shove
Fairy tales of beings undefined above

Vague notions spat from lips of power
Approach the word that is the foulest of them all

“God” is the worst word

As language devotes its attention to the truth
We stand guard against those who would use it for abuse
