Fallen citadels reduce to embers
A scourge arises from the ash
Takes flight across the heavens

In silence they bleed in rapture as aeons unfold
But bleed as they may
The secrets of death are untold
As fire rains down from the fucking sky
The sanctuaries burn
Colossal funeral of fire
Shun the light
Darkness has prevailed
The wretched and un-prophesized

Writhing and weakening
Devoured and forsaken
Expose the dying heart of sanctity
Hear the new aeon shall unfold
To host the rapturous ascent of darkness

And there within the eye of the storm
Each soul endured its own desolation
Enraptured by the search for an utter darkness
Encircled by an almighty cyclone of flames
Yet no mercy was bestowed upon them
No prayer would grant them their salvation
And as their whispers of penance swelled to a scream
They found no absolution
