The king of the country was killed by his guard and his cruel rules were known near and far. The leader of rebels took up royal court. He heard someone singing the song:
"I am the bird of the king and over his coffin I cry and I sing. I am the bird of the king and over his coffin I sing."
He came to the window to look at the crowd. They cried out his name they cheered much too loud. So down marble stairs to the garden he went and from the church tower he heard:
"I am the bell of the king and over his coffin I cry and I ring. I am the bird of the king and over his coffin I ring."
Then he understood that when the man's gone then someone should mourn, for ever bad one and down in the cellar he got drunk with king's wine. The bird and the bell heard him cry:
"I am the killer of king and over his coffin I cry and I drink. I am the killer of king and over his coffin I drink." Teksty umieszczone na naszej stronie są własnością wytwórni, wykonawców, osób mających do nich prawa. |
