Icon of foul deeds
My worship - of endless death
Praise on your knees!
Yet in death the corpse
Squirms with new life
Maggots gnaw the flesh
to the bone
Biological Iconoclasm!
Amass the larvae
into a Chalice
A twitching eucharist
for the congregation
Altar of worms
