As their souls were imprisoned in matter

Their eyes were blinded forevermore

In drought and famine they dwelt
Chastised by pestilence and war
Women cried their eyes out
And men ground their teeth in wrath

Chained in the samsara
Enslaved in the Iron Age

Beyond life and death
Beyond spirit and matter
Beyond dimensions and time

The destroyer and the liberator
