that was stalking?
a shadow in the night,
a messenger of death,
when fear was unstoppable
they could feel it in the air,
a frightening message in red
showed the name of the insane.

that nobody could think,
he laughed on their faces
with his sarcastic red ink.

Paranoia grows
when panic takes control,
and there are too many suspects
when reason grows dark.
