A whisper, a faint call Your voice sings a lullaby, of the night
Dusk falls with the weight of the sun Standing alone, among the graveyard Your casket I kneel by, my tears stain its ebony grace Night's embrace, snuffs the twilight Enveloped in the somber abyss
As the pedals slowly fall The wind sings its hymn, calling to spirits of night
Shrouded amidst the fog A blurred portrait emerged Obscured by her veil Calling my name she wept her last words “goodbye” Unable to reach, sadness drowns my hope Screams devoured by night, as I tried to say my final words, the wind came and swept me away
I see her skin, white as leprosy, eyes hold my gaze Longing for a rapturous embrace, she beckons me forward I try to touch her but my hands fall through cold air
Her image distorts, beauty vanished Wretched banshee, hypnotize me Her face a hideous shade, yet I can't look away, frozen in misery
Moonlight weaves its way, through the trees Waste away my soul and memory, drowned in sorrow
Condemned to solitude, could you not hear my cries? My tears flowed into the river, and with it a decrepit and forlorn soul
Flowing river, carry me away Sweep my soul along, as if snow in the wind Take her portrait from my mind Because restless I'll forever be, An eternity Waiting upon your advent
Forever roaming, I'm following her tears Her faint voice, so beautiful I drop to my knees And in mournful acquiescence, I wept my epitaph to the heavens
Upon twilight's entrance, I fade away My frail bones crumble to dust Somewhere, the fire in your eyes Will set flames across the sky
The world is your canvas and as a brilliant crimson Cracks through a black night, you call to me I can finally fade away, I have died
A lingering fragrance Floats through the forest I submit my soul The trees are quiet And as the night fades away My ashes dance into the rising dawnTeksty umieszczone na naszej stronie są własnością wytwórni, wykonawców, osób mających do nich prawa.
