I stare in the mirror, this broken glass reflection. Am I a man or am I a beast? To what level have I descended, such utter rejection. Blistered with sin, hatred and disease. I claw at my face, the mask peels away. The leering grin of death is revealed. I am wretched, naked, pitiful and diseased. I thought I hid it well. I thought it was concealed!
I am steeped in sin, born in iniquity. I am covered in shame, dying in conformity. O wretched man that I am! Who will save me from this body of death?
I stare in the mirror, this broken glass reflection. Drops of blood bleed upon the shards of light. Blood not of my own, but blood of the Son Pouring through shredded veins for my imperfection. You hung in my place, murdered my flesh. Gazed in my eyes, spat in the face of death. Humbled and fallen, I rise in Your embrace Shattered and broken, You bled for my disgrace!
I am steeped in sin, born in iniquity I am covered in shame, dying in conformity O wretched man that I am! Who will save me from this body of death? Thanks be to God through Jesus Christ our Lord!Teksty umieszczone na naszej stronie są własnością wytwórni, wykonawców, osób mających do nich prawa.
