Underneath vast mountains, Through caves old as time. Dwell those known for braided beards And beer purely divine.
Everyone knew the place to be To catch your favorite brew to chug. The tavern that would always serve Rejuvenation in a mug.
This tavern in the cavern Held a secret in the gloom. For not all ales beneath the veils Are meant to be consumed.
And while some brews can make you strong, Others make you frail. So fear the beer and never drink The Black Barrel Ale!

Working in this tavern was a younger lad Who cleaned the stores at night, and drank what beers they had.
The barkeep gave him ale when shop had closed at night. He'd crack open a jug and drink to his delight.
But one barrel had caught his gaze, well hidden by cobwebs and dust. This great black barrel marked with skulls Gave his taste buds a new-found lust.
And with his mug ready to fill The barkeep casted him aside. For this one keg was forbidden None shall taste of the ale inside.
Waiting for a single chance To taste what his heart did yearn. As the barkeep finally left The glimmer in his eyes returned.
He dashed back to the pitch black keg Filling his mug with lightning speed. He drank without hesitation, For no warnings he would heed.
Satisfied beyond his dreams at the greatest taste ever conceived. Watching the room begin to spin, his mind was then purely relieved...
Then the keg erupted In a cloud of dust and fumes! A shadowy figure appeared As all light vanished from the room.

"He who consumed my ale now behold in your fear, for I feast on the souls of all who drink my beer!"

Fear began to build inside him As this ghastly creature spoke. But the ale invoked his courage And it his strength awoke.
He stood his ground before the fiend, Though he had not a sword or shield. Making due with all that was near, A mug and mallet he did wield.
They traded blows throughout the dark, As waves of beer spilled from his mug. Slipping upon the lake of ale, His head collided with a jug.
The lad awoke with heavy eyes, His body sore and stomach ill. With barkeep glaring down on him, He told last night's entire thrill.
"You fool! There is no such demon That you fought in your drunken state! That beer is merely forbidden, For it makes you hallucinate!"
So fear the beer and never drink The Black Barrel Ale!Teksty umieszczone na naszej stronie są własnością wytwórni, wykonawców, osób mających do nich prawa.
