Pursue the beast into the dark , For in the shadows lurks my prey. Tonight I hunt my greatest mark, And claim his head by break of day.
From the village of oakenstone, Through ancient paths and woods unknown. I've tracked this beast for several days, To ensure it reaps what was sewn.
My eyes are sharp, my senses keen, As I traverse through paths unseen.
For months it has preyed on my kin, Pillaged the farms and sacked the inn. It broke into the village church, And feasted upon all within.
Although the moon is full and sheen, The canopy darkens the scene.
The fearsome howls are drawing near, Making my mind fall prey to fear. But for my brothers who have died, I let courage now guide my spear.
The trail comes to a sudden end, As from the forest it ascends. I feel a shiver through my spine, Seeing the foe I must contend.
Its eyes pierce through the black of night, With skin and fur that was be-night. My heart quickens and blood boils, Gazing at this unearthly sight.
The beast charged forward with fang and claw, I step aside, dodging its paw. With tightened grip I aim my strike, and thrust my spear into its jaw.
The fiend now reels and shrieks in pain, I drive my axe into its brain.
But as I kneel upon the ground, I hear the horrid, dreadful sound. A dozen howls of evil beast Come from the darkness all around.
I draw my sword and raise it high. As they approach, I battle cry.
For I shall slaughter dozens more, Before it is my time to die. Teksty umieszczone na naszej stronie są własnością wytwórni, wykonawców, osób mających do nich prawa. |
