Mourning (The End)
Solace has departed once more Embraced by the cold arms of grief Her smile painted with silver brushes Forged of frozen crystal funereal tears Of those left behind in February snows
Life is killing him once again, sinking deeper Dreams become nightmares filling the void Utterances of forgotten prayers long dead Memories of misplaced smiles since drowned In the tears and rain that fell from the sky
As the sun lowers to mourn the end And night rises, draining misleading sunsets Closing your eyes to see the darkening light As the dawning moon reflects on the grave Where your disease and trauma still fester
As the flesh becomes lost and disposed The soul no longer lingering in wooden prison The pain returned unto the abusing world Leaving only memories to rot in open wounds Cancerously growing to claim remaining lights
Malignant prophecies of human suffering Irrelevant and sad lives become mere shadow Inner sanctuary, hiding from dawning realities Are torn down, raped once more of meaning Mourning the end of another forgotten soul
Weeping for nothing, and for no-one Last thoughts leave, drift from the world Becoming dwindling starts, fading to apathy As obsidian pupils observe the passing aeons And the voices of the wind become whispers
Malignant prophecies of human suffering Irrelevant identities become mere shadow Inner sanctuary, hiding from the abuses Is torn down, raped of all its meaning And its end is shown in shattered memory Teksty umieszczone na naszej stronie są własnością wytwórni, wykonawców, osób mających do nich prawa. |
