often a blessing

their heart beats inducing great terror

the thought of delivery
enough to consider

ending it all

inside they twist
within the walls
the greed for growth
begins to take hold

will take the first breath
inferior sibling will

the cells begin
to merge into one

and so the twin
vanishes in utero

CHIMERA IS BORN

It enters this world alone
the mother is gone

a feast presenting itself
a rather morbid display

consuming the gateway

cursed creature
hideously molting
it spreads its wings
and ascends to the skies
into uncharted
territory

it beckons the urge
to blind my sight

as a witness to its contorted features

a call home to suicide

taking flight it taints
the skies
reaving the beauty
from heavens stride
